Worship
Here at Grace we believe that we were made to worship the living God who is revealed in the person and work of Jesus Christ. We believe that Romans 12:1-2, among other passages, teaches that worship is something we do in every aspect of our lives as we walk in the Spirit each day. However, we also believe that Scripture commands the regular gathering of believers in order to pray, sing, fellowship, teach, preach, learn, give, serve, and partake of the ordinances. Our main worship service is at 10:30am on Sundays. We also have a midweek service on Wednesdays at 10:00am. Each gathering has its own unique feel, purpose, and structure. However, each is designed to orient us around the truths of God's Word, preparing us and equipping us to grow spiritually and fulfill God's mission for us in the world.
One of the many important aspects of our congregational worship is our music ministry. Mr. Zuri Zuniga faithfully leads us in singing praise to God in each service, and also directs our choir and other musical aspects of the ministry. We deeply value bringing believers of all ages together through worshipping God in song. You can learn more about our preaching/teaching ministry, beliefs about the ordinances (what some call 'sacraments'), and other important aspects of worship by exploring The Word and Doctrine pages.
The best way to get to know who we are as a church is to simply come and be with us. Listen to what we sing. Listen to what we preach. Listen to how we pray. Only by coming and experiencing God's grace and love among us will you better understand what we believe about worship at Grace.
